Sealers' Wall II
Sealers once trapped their prey with the help of this dry stone wall, at a small bay near the southern tip of Tasmania's King Island. This structure seems incongruous in such a remote location, but the lichens and mosses have their way of blending the man-made with the natural.
This is the view when standing with your back to the water. Not another soul around - water, birdlife and the ever present westerly wind off the Southern Ocean.
