Angels of the Dawn

I love the way in which the light is forcing itself through the darkness here. Of all locations, I find the ocean and coastlines to be the most evocative. The combination the hard etched coastline with the milky sea and brooding cloud, through which (at last) the sun's rays break through, brought to mind a beautiful passage from H. Rider Haggard's novel, She:
" From the east to the west sped those angels of the Dawn, from sea to sea, from mountain-top to mountain-top, scattering light from breast and wing. On they sped out of the darkness, perfect, glorious...”
