Maoth-ròsach (Delicate, as a rose)
Norman Island's low, rocky profile stands lonely, hard and defiant, four kilometres off Whisky Bay on Wilson's Promontory, Victoria.
In contrast, the wet sand threw up only a soft hint of reflection; a delicate hint of soft rose.
Wilson's Promontory remains one of my favourite locations. A place for walking, swimming and surfing, just sitting and of course, plenty of photography. A place where you can find solitude despite the popularity of this wonderful National Park.
This day in early March offered a chance to get back there for an evening-morning shoot. Conditions were far from perfect, but I managed just a few frames as the sun was setting.
